Stockwood Park, Luton, Beds. 10am until 5pm

After the success of last years club stand at this event, we will be having another one this year. We had about 17 cars on our stand, so it would be great to have at least as many or even more would be better – so come on – support your club!

The Club Stand

Good parking, hopefully in the same place. The club regalia tent again,(weather permitting), new membership joining (hopefully), and there will also be a small club competition with the peoples choice of Best Car on the stand with a small Trophy for the winner and runner up, so don’t forget to fill in your voting slip, we may also have a small Raffle, but will depend on club stand entry numbers. The chance to meet and chat with fellow members and the thousands of public that visit our stand, and have a great day out hopefully!

The Event

The 18th LFT is organised by the CVPG and regularly attract over 1200 entries including 50 club stands.

As well as vehicles on display, there is a large autojumble, the Mossman collection of horsedrawn vehicles will be on display at the Stockwood Park museum, and entertainment in the arena. Other attraction include a celebration of 50 years of the M1 motorway, in which if I am correct, the first cars down there were Vauxhall Crestas! There is a separate stand and class for exhibitors of the best period costume and 1950’s vehicle, so if you fancy dressing the part with your car and taking part, let me know as soon as possible. Sadly the Vauxhall Heritage Centre will not be opening for this event this year.

Entry

Entry is FREE with a club pass, or you will have to pay on the day. I now have the club stand passes, so please send me an S.A.E requesting one with your car model and Reg. No.

I really need to know numbers as soon as possible to organize the club events, so please get your passes as soon as possible.

Billing passes will also be available by then.
