Description: The 2nd International event in the Netherlands
Dear All
It's time to think about gearing up for next year's motoring delights, starting with the 2012 running of the VBOA International Rally, organised by the brilliant team of the Vauxhall Owners Club Holland and taking place in the eastern part of Holland in the Twente region close to the German border from May17th to the 20th.

As usual, the VBOA Treasurer Anne Norris will collect entry fees from the UK entrants and pass it to our Dutch friends by the due date of February 1st, saving individuals the exhorbitant eletronic transfer fees charged by those cuddly bankers. Firstly you should send an e-mail to secretariaat@vauxhallclub.nl saying that you are going on the event as it is a first come first served situation regarding hotel space. Once accepted send, at today's exchange rate, a cheque to Anne for £473 for a couple sharing a double room and £340 for a single room by January 15th at the latest.If the exchange rate goes dramatically either way in the intervening period adjustments will have to be made at the time.

In terms of ferries, the most direct route is Harwich to Hook of Holland, leaving a 220km run to the start, mostly on motorways.
