The Great Central Railway in Leicestershire will play host to a special event celebrating and remembering the era of National Service 1948 - 1962. 

The organisers would like to extend an invitation to anyone able to bring along a vehicle made during the period 1948 - 1962. 
 

I think the driver and one passenger gain free entry and train travel but I will confirm this later. 
 

We are hoping for a very large gathering of veterans (people not cars!) and a fine display of period vehicles both military and civilian.
 

The date for the event is the weekend of September the 18th & 19th, 2010. 
 

We\'re ideally looking for the types of cars the NS veterans will remember from those years. So, Vanguards, Consuls, Victors, Oxfords, Ensigns, Zephyrs, Crestas, Minxes, etc etc... 

In the case of your club the invite would only extend to the PA model as the others fall outside the age range.
